Our School
St. Joseph's National School is situated in the townland of Killenummery, Dromahair, County Leitrim. Our school is in the diocese of Ardagh and Clonmacnoise under the patronage of Bishop Francis Duffy.
Killenummery ( Cill an Iomaire - Church on the Ridge) takes its name from an early Christian monastery.

Dromahair
Our school is situated approximately 3 miles from the village of Dromahair. Dromahair was established on a ridge on the north eastern bank of the River Bonet, during the middle ages. The facilities in Dromahair are widely used by our school community. Dromahair has many local and historical areas of interest. Some examples of these are:
